naps-cli

Research from your terminal.

Search Reddit, inspect keyword demand, find tweets, and query your own Search Console data. Commands return JSON, so they work in scripts and agent workflows.

Install

macOS and Linux

curl -fsSL https://naps.sh/cli/install.sh | sh

Windows PowerShell

iwr -useb https://naps.sh/cli/install.ps1 | iex

Set up with an agent

Copy these instructions into your agent. They include the public setup guide, not your API key. Add the key through your agent runner's secret environment or a terminal you control.

Set up naps-cli for me. Read https://naps.sh/cli/llms.txt and follow its agent setup guide. Install the CLI for this operating system and verify it with naps-cli --help. Check whether NAPS_CLI_API_KEY is available without printing its value. If it is missing, help me add the key through my agent runner's secret environment or a terminal I control, then restart the agent if needed. Never ask me to paste the key into chat, put it in a command argument or project file, or print it in logs. Once configured, use naps-cli's JSON output for the research task I give you. Only set up Twitter/X or Search Console if I ask for them.

Your Naps API key

Sign in here to get five free SEO units per day and create a Naps API key. A keyword, website, or SERP lookup uses one unit; bulk uses one per keyword. Locations use no units. Hosted Reddit requires separate approval. Twitter/X uses your provider key, and Search Console connects directly to Google.
